I run Google Drive on my Laptop and Desktop both, it works fine of the Laptop but gives this error for the reasons I am not aware of.
The error is something like this (the image above), it says,
Error loading Python DLL:
C:\Users\Asif\AppData\Local\Temp\_MEI121082\python27.dll (error code 1114).
How to fix error code 1114
The error is because of missing or corrupted pythod27.dll. So we have to download it from the internet and put it in the root directory.
You might get a different code error for any other missing .dll file, so I am not linking a particular file. You can go to Dll-Files.com and search for the particular .dll file that is missing.
When you get your file, click on the plus icon and download the zip file, which is the 2nd link.
Extract the .dll file from .zip file. We recommend that you extract the .dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting the .dll.
In this case it’s C:\Program Files\Google\Drive
Try launching Google Drive again, it should work by now.
If that doesn’t work, you will have to extract the .dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, win 8)
If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place the .dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
Make sure to overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file for safety).
Reboot your computer.
If the problem still occurs, try the following:
Open Windows Start menu and select “Run…”.
Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
Type regsvr32 <filename>.dll and press Enter.
